I started out as a classicly trained violinist playing regularly up through high school. After High School I switched over to the guitar and have been playing and teaching for close to 30 years now. I teach music theory because I believe a student needs to have a fundamental understanding of this important part of music. I also stress chord and scale exercises using several different finger positions. If a student is to learn to play music on their own they need a solid background in theory to understand what they're trying to learn to play.

I offer students a unique relaxed environment to learning and provide the ability to record them as well. As they continue to strengthen their abilities and improve their technique they can go back and listen to their playing ability from the beginning. Along with this they gain a solid understanding of recording techniques.

I also provide other services such as voice over recording for radio commercials, background music for any application (royalty free), audio mastering and digital video editing.
